Petroedge served many companies in the area of minerals exploration. We did many geological mapping, geochemical exploration, business plans and others related services to many clients in Sudan

We served in almost all the states of Sudan. Our group of experts have covered the whole country of Sudan during their rich career life.

Detailed scope of work can be agreed on between PETROEDGE and the client. However, usually the responsibility of the client is to fulfill the requirements of Ministry of Minerals (MoM), and then Petroedge will proceed with other activities including following up with MoM to issue the general exploration license and “the exclusive license” for a concession block. By the end of an exploration project the followings are the expected deliverables:

• Detailed geological map covering the concession area
• 13 different types of satellite images with appropriate interpretation
• 3D view for the concession area
• Contour map for the concession area
• Bird view movie for the concession area
• Assessment of the locations of high mineral concentrations within the block area
• Detailed geological report that will cover the project works and findings
• Work program for the next phase
• Preliminary evaluation and budget estimation for the next exploration phases
• Expert’s Recommendations and road map for the way forward
• Business plan (optional)Our Project Planning SchemeThe project is divided into three stages:
  1. Office work which will include data gathering and preparation, remote sensing and satellite images processes, building of GIS system for the concession area and making the initial geological maps that will be developed during the project.
  2. Field and Laboratory works: in which our team will implement geological surveying program. Samples will be collected from outcrops and lab tests will be conducted with QA/QC procedures. Core drilling is not included.
  3. Mapping work: which includes geological mapping both electronically and physically (the client will get soft and hard copies of the produced map)
  4. Business plan and reporting
